研討會簡介 About the Conference
隨著全球人口高齡化的加劇，肌少症（Sarcopenia）已成為影響長者健康與生活品質的重要議題。國民健康署106-109年國民營養健康狀況變遷調查顯示，65歲以上人口肌少症盛行率達34.1%。北市社區營養推廣中心調查顯示，每3位長者就有1位具肌少症風險。肌少症不僅會導致肌肉質量與力量的流失，還可能增加跌倒、骨折、失能及慢性病等風險，進而對個人、家庭及醫療體系造成沉重負擔。通常長輩初期並不會察覺，但之後陸續會出現手腳無力、走路變慢、爬樓梯變得困難、甚至生活起居需要他人協助。
今年，肌少症國際研討會邁入第三屆，這將是一場跨界、跨域、跨科別的國際性研討會，涵蓋神經醫學、復健醫學、心血管等臨床醫學，以及再生醫學、動物模型、生物標記、基因等科學研究，期透過跨國、跨領域的學術研究交流與合作，提升醫療、長照人員以及醫學教育者對肌少症的認知與啟發，促進學術界與產業界的技術創新，推動更完善的健康照護模式，喚起大眾對肌少症的認識與重視，以減緩肌少症對患者及整體社會之衝擊。
As the global population ages, sarcopenia has become a pressing health challenge that significantly impacts the well-being and quality of life of older adults. In Taiwan, recent surveys reveal that more than one-third of people over 65 are affected or at risk. Beyond muscle loss and weakness, sarcopenia can lead to falls, fractures, disability, and chronic illness—placing a heavy burden on individuals, families, and healthcare systems.
The 3rd International Conference on Sarcopenia brings together experts across disciplines and sectors to address this urgent issue. Covering neurology, rehabilitation, cardiology, regenerative medicine, biomarkers, genetics, and more, the conference provides a platform for global academic exchange and collaboration.
Through shared insights and innovations, we aim to deepen awareness among healthcare providers, long-term care professionals, and educators, foster breakthroughs between academia and industry, and promote better care models. Ultimately, this conference seeks to raise public understanding of sarcopenia and reduce its impact on patients and society.

【活動】摘要徵求 Request for Abstract Submission（獎金兩萬 Prize pool of up to NT$20,000）～10/15
隨著高齡社會來臨，肌少症成為重要公衛議題，我們如何為長者以及肌少症高風險族群預先準備？第三屆肌少症國際研討會，徵求專家學者與研究生投稿研究摘要，一同為肌少症問題提出新見解。獲獎之摘要將在研討會中表揚，所有參加者可獲得發表證明。
With the arrival of an aging society, sarcopenia has emerged as a critical public health issue. How can we better prepare for older adults and populations at high risk of sarcopenia? The 3rd International Sarcopenia Symposium is now calling for abstract submissions from experts, scholars, and graduate students to present new insights on sarcopenia. Award-winning abstracts will be recognized during the symposium, and all participants will receive a certificate of presentation.

【徵稿主題】以自身醫病或照護親友經驗為題，與疾病共處共舞的故事，將光傳遞。
【徵稿文體】散文，5000字內。
